Witch Hazel -Hamamelis viginiana
Native to North America and Canada Witch hazel grows in Woodland-forest edges and along stream banks. The bark and twigs are collected in autumn when the plant is most aromatic, essential oil is extracted with steam. Ethanol is used to preserve and ensure sterility. Native American tribes widely used witch hazel for its astringent, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, homeostatic and soothing effects. Fractionated coconut oil
Medium-chain triglycerides in fractionated coconut oil dilute essential oils making them safe for topical use and provide non-oily moisturisation for the skin. Fractionated coconut oil is an emollient, hydrating skin without clogging pores, and it assists repairing dry skin by forming a light protective barrier. Also it assists essential oils absorb into skin more effectively. Fractionated coconut oil is an antioxidant, antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory. Also used as a hair serum
